I am a political philosopher based at the University of Oxford.

I am a lecturer at Brasenose College and at Hertford College, as well as being an associate member at Nuffield College.

I studied for my undergraduate degree at Trinity College, Dublin before coming to Oxford for my graduate studies. I wrote my doctoral thesis on contractarian political philosophy, with a particular focus on how such approaches can make use of formal bargaining theory and the theory of coalitions. More recently, I have also been working on the idea of money in contemporary liberal theories.
